Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum

So this is my 3rd product from Valentia my last was Valentia Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum and I absolutely loved that stuff. I mean it was so good I used every single drop I could get out of the glass bottle. So when I was offered to try their Night Revive Retinol Serum I couldn’t say no. I am like most woman whose showing signs of aging desperately looking for something that works so based on my last product from them I was like ” you don’t have to ask me twice!”

Here’s what is on the product listing on Amazon:

About the Product

  • WRINKLES BE GONE: Retinol is an antioxidant triple threat! Retinol penetrates to the cellular level to stop and diminish even the deepest of wrinkles. It helps to reverse the clock, for more youthful looking skin.
  • IMPROVES SKIN TONE: Vitamin C enhances Retinols protective and skin toning effects. These two together protect the skin from environmental damage and create more even skin tone and texture.
  • MANAGES BREAKOUTS: Not only is Retinol great for wrinkles it also helps prevent breakouts and clear up old ones!
  • NON-DRYING: Valentia’s Retinol Serum is specially formulated with nourishing Vitamin E and Squalene to condition and moisturize the skin. So forget about those drying retinol formulas, and hello to softer skin.

Well I got my bottle of the Valentia Night Revive on 9-29-16 and today is 10-5-16 and I have to say I LOVE this product! When I first used it I had to use a whole dropper full because, my skin was so thirsty and now that I have been using it twice a day even though it says to use just at night, only half a dropper does the trick. I am putting it on my face, neck and chest and cannot believe how after just 6 days I can already see and feel an immense difference. My skin feels so much softer and the texture is hard to describe, hopefully it will come to me on what I would compare it to and when I look in the mirror now the crepe type look of my skin is virtually gone. I guess it’s plumping up my skin. Even the crepe and lines between my breast are gone. My neck is wrinkled bad it’s always been a bane for me and while I am not seeing a huge improvement there yet due to the severity of it, I am almost certain with my continued use it will perk up like the rest of my skin. Oh I am also putting a little squirt on the back of each of my hands. I actually just started doing that so we shall see. By the way I am not using any other type of moisturizer. They do recommend you follow the serum with their Night Revive Cream but, I don’t have that and I also felt like the only true way to test the product is to isolate it other wise how would I know which product was actually giving me the results? I honestly don’t feel like my skin needs another moisturizer at this point now it feels very subtle and not dry at all.

Just for your information here’s some of the awesome ingredients in this Night Revive Serum by Valentia.:

– Retinol (Vitamin A): Works at the cellular level to stop winkles, manage breakouts, and evens out skin discoloration.
– Vitamin C: Guards skin against environmental free-radicals to prevent premature aging.
– Vitamin E: Provides intense hydration to diminish the drying effects of retinol.
– Squalane: Derived for pure olive oil to soften and condition delicate skin.

I will update again in another week or so and just so you can be well informed please be sure to check out Valentia and all their other awesome products at the links below.

Well I am back today is the 18th and I have now been using the Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum religiously for 19 days and I have to say once again Valentia did not disappoint me. The texture of my skin is so much better now. I use to have really rough feeling skin on the sides of my face in the hollow of my cheeks and temples and that’s gone. I mean even when I use to exfoliate that rough part and use other lotions thinking it was just dead skin it didn’t help. I love running my fingertips over that area now,  it’s  a difference like night and day. I also noticed that the crinkled lines under my eyes have smoothed way out and these results aren’t even 3 weeks in yet more like 2 1/2 weeks of use. So I will be using this until the very last drop. Also as I stated a couple weeks ago I have not used ANYTHING else nothing just this stuff. I was putting it on the back of my hands but sort of forgot about that due to the fact I was so fascinated at the results on the feel and look of my skin. So I am going to say YES I HIGHLY recommend the Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum. Trust me I’m an older woman so my skin was terrible looking. Oh and before I forget one other thing I noticed is it seems like the dark spots I had are also fading. I guess it must be the vitamin C & retinol but don’t quote me on that it’s just obvious to me now when I look in my magnifying mirror. I put the links above where you can find this and compared to most products similar to this one I think the price is outstanding considering the results!

Thanks and have a great day! ~Kiki

Valentia Royal Rose Hydrating Serum – For Sensitive Skin

I have been using the VALENTIA ROYAL ROSE HYDRATING SERUM for about 12 days now and while I haven’t noticed a significant change I do like the way it soaks into my skin leaving it feeling tighter with no greasy residue at all which is really nice. I also found it interesting that it contains evening primrose, can you believe I was actually taking the primrose oil capsules pricking them with a pin and squeezing the oil out to put on my face and let me tell you it does not smell so good and was a big hassle! So I was really thrilled to see that this serum has that in it so I don’t have to go through all that work and bonus it actually smells nice.

As with most skincare products if it’s going to really work it’s going to take more than a couple weeks to show results and I am always skeptical about trying a new brand especially if it costs a bit more. With that said I was very fortunate to get in on a campaign with a site called BrandBacker (if you’re interested in reviewing products at not cost to you the widget for them is on my home page) and I was able to get this product for FREE.

As far as the product itself goes it does indeed have the scent of roses and it’s consistency is more like a mix between a serum and lotion to me which is fine I have no complaints at all about any of the look, feel, or smell of it. I think that regardless of how effective it is to reverse the signs of aging it still has the potential to at least slow it down.

So in conclusion I think that 12 days is certainly not enough time to effectively review this product so I plan to keep using it and if i notice anything new I will be sure to check and update this article. If you are wanting to learn more about this product please click on this link  If you would like to purchase or read the reviews here is the link for that as well   I think that’s all for now please feel free to comment.

I’ve been dealing with the awful effects nature inflicts on us as we age and one of the worse parts is the hormonal imbalance we women have to deal with. So it is because of this fact of life  that has caused me not only to experience emotional imbalance but, also a physical imbalance as well such as dry, wrinkling, & spotting skin that I have made it a personal quest to find those products that are natural, cruelty free, & leaning more towards organic ingredients. So with the help of google and personal suggestions from friends and family I reached out to companies whom I felt were right up there with the Holy Grail and most assuredly products that should be classified as the Cream of the Crop when it comes to cosmetics & beauty supplements for our faces, hair, & body which will encompass everything from facial and body creams to nutritional supplements, bars, & powders. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that most of the companies I wrote to request samples from were very generous and I’m truly grateful for that fact because, there is no way I could afford to pay for all the different products I felt had the most promise.

So in the spirit of my always competitive personality I’ve decided to do a monthly versus blog, where I will pit one companies product against another i.e BioRepublic vs Patchology! BTW the owners of these two companies have been very generous in supplying me with ample samples of their products. I’m also trying to get product from a company called SkinPrint  they specialize in innovative technology and have products that now contain stem cells, the company I decided to use to go up against SkinPrint is another company that’s called LifeLine and they also use stem cells in their products! So I will most definitely be able to do a comparison article and depending on how much information is out there I not only plan to talk about the products but, try to look into the history & creators behind them which I think is super fascinating!

I’m super excited to go on this quest and I hope that my revelations will not only help the companies who so graciously have given me samples to try but, also you the consumer because, I promise you I am a super down to earth and honest woman so if I say something is good or bad you can pretty much take that to the bank as I will always give my honest opinion and besides being given the samples there is absolutely nothing in it for me except hopefully as I stated earlier finding those products that I believe are a gift from the gods and as close to ambrosia as a person can get. Plus the fact that they’re cruelty free and lean towards a more organic approach is a win win for me! As you can see from Mr. Bunny and all the logos surrounding him there are quite a few companies whom are dedicated to this practice. Also the logos you see here are a just few of the companies who so graciously said yes to my request when I asked if I could get samples! So a big shout out to them for their generous hearts! I hope to be able to add even more later on.

bunny-with-company-logos REVISED

Well I think that gives you an idea of where I’m headed with this blog. Thanks for reading and stay tuned as I’m still waiting on products to arrive and if you have any requests of companies products you would like me to do a VS. on please feel free to send me your request in the comments below and I’ll see what I can do!

Thanks & Have A Great Day!

Don’t ask me how this came to be. I am as amazed as everyone else is. I mean this is a blessing and I feel so humbled that I was chosen for this campaign. It was a little nerve wracking waiting to receive this Influenster L’Oreal Revitalift VoxBox because, somehow it managed to get stuck somewhere for 9 days while all my teammates on my business page all got theirs. So needless to say I was a bit frantic thinking it would never get here. I just started this campaign so I will update as things progress.

I am now starting my second week of the L’Oreal Revitalift Volume Filler campaign and so far I haven’t noticed any significant changes but, that doesn’t mean they will not happen. I’ve tried products for 2 to 3 weeks with no results then on the 4th week bam out of nowhere it’s totally evident that the products do indeed do what they say. It’s still too early for me to give my opinion of the individual products themselves but, I will say that the serums seem to absorb very quickly and don’t leave any type of sticky residue once they’ve absorbed and dried into the skin. After I wash my face I make sure to put each one on in this order and wait in between for each one to absorb and dry before I apply the next one.

  1. Eye Treatment
  2. Daily Re-volumizing concentrated serum
  3. Daily Re-Volumizing Moisturizer

  1. Eye Treatment
  2.  Night Cream

I will also quickly note that I like the consistency, feel and smell of the Night Cream but, it never fully absorbs into my skin and kind of leaves a goopy feeling so as I am writing this I’m thinking as I start my second week I will try to use the Night Cream more sparingly. Guess that’s all for now. I will report in again for week 3 next Sunday!. #AskSkinExpert 😉

Ok my weekly report isn’t due yet but, I just had to pop back in because, I was just noticing that the dark circles and puffiness under my eyes..has started to disappear after only 12 days of daily use! So I got excited and had to dash over here to blog about it! lol  So I’ve been putting the REVITALIFT VOLUME FILLER REPLENISH UNDEREYE HOLLOWS REDUCE SUNKEN SHADOWS FIRM EYE CONTOUR both morning and at bedtime. Pretty exciting and unexpected results because my dark circles and puffy eyes are the first thing I notice. Now if it would just get rid of the wrinkles on my neck and around my mouth I will be even happier! 🙂1455251655207screensave

So I just finished up week 3 and I must say other than my eyes looking like the dark circles have faded. I am not seeing a tremendous amount of improvement. I was hoping maybe it would help with a bit of sagging skin that I am starting to notice is mixed in with the deep wrinkles but, I am happy that at least it’s helping with the bags and circles I have under my eyes.

While I am here checking in I wanted to mention how much I love the feel and look of their L’Oreal RevitaLift Volume Filler Night Cream! I love the mild scent of it too sort of has a honeysuckle or jasmine scent but, it’s not over powering or anything like that and the best part about it is that it’s not super greasy like some night creams can be, you know the ones I am talking about! Plus a little goes a long ways! Another week to go and I will report in again. We only have 16 days left of this campaign and due to my box getting lost for 9 days I am way behind schedule but, hopefully as I stated in my first paragraph I will have some more positive results!

Influenster just the name alone is a mouth full and at first look it’s a very intimidating platform that they use. You have lists, snaps, badges and all these new things to discover. It’s taken me probably about 2.5 months to finally start getting the hang of the important stuff but, trust me I still have a long ways to go.

What’s interesting to me is how I went from being annoyed with the company to feeling this un-explainable pull. It’s true I went from finding this site to be tedious and boring to all of a sudden wanting to make lists do snaps and work on images for lists. Right now the #contest list is #NewYearFaves. So far I’ve only added two items to my list because, the actual really cool stuff I’ve discovered in the first weeks of the new year 2016 are not in their data base. I’m still trying to figure out how to do that because, I think I have so much to offer.

They really need to know about ERZO’s prenatal biscuits that you will want to eat whether you are pregnant or not.

I joined #Smiley360 first because, believe it or not I saw it mentioned in a review I was reading on a WalMart product and that’s what took me deep into the world of “Word of Mouth” (WOM) Marketing and reviewing.  In less than a month Smiley360 had given me 3 missions with 3 full size products! The photo below shows 2 of my missions and as you can see they’re well know and full size products sent to me absolutely FREE no shipping charges nothing! Join here to get started on your missions

After Smiley360 I joined #CrowdTap and they’ve given me 4 missions already of awesome products. A few days ago they gave me another mission for RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30!! I just looked at my account and it says they’ve already shipped that product to me, that is sooo awesome!! You can start getting your FREE products (most of them full size) At this link

This is one of the beautiful things I love about having my own blog because, I can steer people in the right direction and spread the word about the good “try before you buy” sites and also tell people which of these types of companies are losers like BzzAgent!..If you want to get FREE full size products where all you have to do is try the product (they call this a mission, BzzAgent calls it a campaign) all that is required is for you to give your honest review of said product by a certain deadline, Here’s those links again (for Smiley360) and  I think CrowdTap is really the best site out of all the sites and I know they are fairly new too. Also I noticed there is a looking to hire post on their home page. Not sure what it’s for maybe tech. So if you’re looking for work you could check into that’s right up at the top left of their home page.

Well I’m sorry to say that the Nexium24HR (Esomeprazole 20 mg) didn’t work for me but, to be fair I’m normally on a prescription of Pantoprazole 40mg once a day. I quit taking my prescription dose to give Nexium 24hr a fair chance especially since I had received the bottle containing 14 capsules of Nexium 24hr for FREE as one of my missions from Smiley360 I don’t really have a lot to say about the Nexium 24hr except that I am sure it works for people who don’t have bad enough heartburn or ulcers to require an actual prescription strength medication.

I’ve been a faithful Amazonian for many years but, in the recent few months I’ve started comparing prices between #Ebay & #Amazon and I’ve discovered something and that is that a lot of the same merchandise is a lot less expensive at #Ebay then at #Amazon! The other major difference is that most of the items found on #Ebay ships for free! Last night I decided I needed a postage scale & printing labels to make my life a bit easier. So of course I logged into #Amazon first but, after just a few minutes of browsing their scales I realized between the actual cost for the item and then the cost of shipping it added up to way more than I wanted to spend. Sooo I decided to give #Ebay a shot and what I happily discovered is that they had all sorts of nice affordable scales for sale with #FREE   shipping I ended up going with an 80lb scale from #“ever*hotbuy” because, the same exact scale was the same price at #Amazon ,except that #Amazon was using that free shipping with a $35.00 purchase or more while #Ebay was completely #FREE shipping! So I saved myself about $8.00 by shopping at #Ebay! The same goes with another purchase of Mango butter that I made it turned out that #Ebay was about $15.00 cheaper then #Amazon! From now on I plan to always do a price check between #Amazon & #Ebay and I would advise you to do the same because it’s not some little bit of change in difference it’s a good chunk of change!
